Year 8 enjoyed the Tag Rugby tournament in May which was organised by the Year 11 Occupational Studies class. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the whole occasion and especially meeting and playing with Ulster & Ireland’s Jared Payne and Ulster & New Zealand’s Sean Reidy (now Ireland too). The Ashfield App Club has come to an end for this year following a great team effort in developing the first prototype for our very own school App!
The team included: Owen Kelly (Strategic Planner), Craig McCord (Design Team), Travis Lord (Design Team), Zach Norwood (Design Team), Josh Thompson (App Development) and Tiago Marques (App Development).

Our Year 11 Business class attended an Allen and Overy/PWC Vision path Event at the A&O Offices to further their skills and understanding within a business setting.
The event which brings Dragon’s Den and The Apprentice together by developing a product from concept stage to pitching to the client.More → Share
On Wednesday 9th March 2016, Year 13 attended the annual UCAS Convention at Sprucefield, Lisburn.
The boys got to interact and ask plenty of questions to key people from many universities across the UK and Ireland.
It was a fantastic and worthwhile event for the boys as they gained lots of information about life at university.More → Share

On Friday 11th of December, as the end of the first term approached, Ashfield pupils and staff made their annual pilgrimage to St Mark’s Church, at the top of the Holywood Road, for our festive carol service. Recently, we elected our student council for 2015-16 using the electoral system of First Past the Post. Each class elected a class representative and each of the class representatives stood for election for each year group to determine who they wished to elect as their Year Representative.
